Amelia Rising Presents: Rising Up

We are pleased to announce that we will be hosting a second edition of “Rising Up”, an evening of music, comedy and celebration of Amelia Rising’s work in the community. Although we are primarily known for our Counselling program, we also provide public education workshops to our intermediate, secondary and post-secondary schools. “Rising Up” is a fundraiser for our Public Education program which is crucial to our mission of ending sexual and gender-based violence.

This year’s fundraiser will include a live music performance from Coco Love Alcorn as well as some great laughs with stand-up comedian Martha Chaves while our community gathers in solidarity. By attending or giving to this annual event you’ll be supporting Amelia Rising to continue our important work in teaching our kids and youth about consent and healthy relationships. Please note that we are a registered charity in good standing, therefore charitable tax receipts can be issued for donations that exceed the ticket price of $25.
